Sooyoowo mawɗo, hoɗɗo Niger e yimɓe mayo.

Our close partnership brings together the Group’s trading desk in Dubai, product from the Nigerian coast and our own fleet. For SONIDEP, that means a supplier that plans ahead, sources product early and delivers on time, even when a corridor is slow. For Niger, it means continuous supply for homes, farms, hospitals, transport and industry.

  • Continuous supply

Several routes to Niger, so supply does not depend on one corridor.

  • Gaadiiji amen

Trucks from 500 to 50,000 litres, dispatched the same day.

  • One reliable partner

Sourcing, transport and delivery planned together with SONIDEP.

  • Built for the long term

A partnership committed to Niger’s energy security.

Hokkugol fuel

Refined petroleum products, such as diesel, petrol, kerosene, jet fuel and LPG, travel overland on MEA's own fleet. With the Group's Nigerian trucking and supply capability behind it, the fleet gives inland customers a reliable source of fuel, and gives suppliers an outlet into markets that are hard to reach directly.

Supply corridor

No ko hokkirta ina yaha Niger.

Niger imports much of its refined fuel, and it arrives along several corridors. Today the main one runs through Nigeria, because the Dangote Refinery now supplies product close to the border. Cotonou in Benin and Lomé in Togo are further routes from the coast. MEA sources the product, lands it through these corridors and carries it on its own fleet, so inland customers have a reliable source of all refined products.

Niger uses ~3.2 million litres of Oil products a day, rising to ~4.3 million in ten years and 5.0 million in fifteen. Our approach is simple: supply and carry contracts through the corridors, trade surplus product into Sahel markets with our own fleet, and take Zimar refinery offtake over the long term.

Fuel Niger can count on

Planned storage, our own trucks and over 50 stations across the country.

Our vision in Niger is to develop storage across the country and to build a network of more than 50 stations that reaches every region. Storage close to demand, our own fleet and our own stations together give Niger a reliable, local source of fuel, and a base for supplying the wider Sahel.

  • Planned storage across Niger.
  • More than 50 stations across the country.
  • Reliable supply by our own fleet from Niamey.
