MEA Global Trading

Run with discipline. Built to last.

Who leads MEA, how we are governed, and how we keep risk, compliance and safety in check.

Invest in our vision

If you share our vision, you are always welcome to invest in it, across any of our companies.

We are building an integrated energy Group for the long term: from trading in the Gulf to stations, trucks, Gas, upstream and agriculture across Africa. So far we have grown on our own resources, which is why we are selective about the partners we bring in. We welcome conversations with investors who share our long-term view and want to back a team with deep industry experience and assets on the ground.

01

An integrated chain

Trading, retail, logistics, Gas, upstream and agriculture, working together under one name.

02

Assets on the ground

43 stations, our own truck fleet and a growing Gas business.

03

Self-funded growth

Every subsidiary has been built from the Group's own resources.

04

A clear direction

Up to 200 stations in Nigeria within three years, and expansion across Africa.

Where we are heading

  1. 01More stations, closer to more people: 70 signed by end-December 2026, up to 200 in Nigeria within three years, and over 50 in Niger.
  2. 02Gas that reaches beyond the grid: mini-LNG, an LPG terminal, CNG and L-CNG.
  3. 03A way into upstream, through MEA Energy Solutions.
  4. 04Logistics that grow to serve third-party customers and Gas haulage.
  5. 05Agribusiness: growing Agricliq into storage and processing.
  6. 06Long-term partnerships with national Oil companies, refiners and states, including Zimar offtake.

The rules we hold ourselves to

01

Governance and compliance

We hold ourselves to transparency, compliance and ESG criteria aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A legal and compliance function structures our contracts, manages licences and sanctions compliance, and protects the Group in every market.

02

Risk and internal audit

Internal audit and risk review check our controls, test our processes and report to the board, so that fast growth stays safe and well governed.

03

Sanctions and ethics

We screen for sanctions and carry out counterparty due diligence before onboarding anyone, and we have zero tolerance for unsafe acts.

04

Board of MEA Energy Trading

The board brings decades of senior leadership in law, finance, Oil and Gas and energy. The directors sit on the board of MEA Energy Trading Limited and are listed on the Nigeria site.

Health, safety and sustainability

Safety is something we practise every day: spill response and waste-management policies, emergency preparedness, trained crews, regular site audits and equipment inspection, and open reporting of incidents and near misses. Solar power already runs part of our station network, and the plan is to reach every station. We use cleaner, lower-sulphur fuels and hire locally. In Nigeria we run the Better Life Initiative: training, apprenticeships, mentorship and grassroots literacy programmes.
